Terms of Use

Effective date: October 26, 2026 · Last updated: October 27, 2026

The short version

  • Use content you own or have permission to use. You're responsible for what you bring in and what you post.
  • Check every slide before you share it. Slides are drafted by AI and can be wrong.
  • We don't get around paywalls or logins. Import works with public pages only.
  • Purchases go through Apple. Cancel any time in your Apple ID settings.

1. Agreeing to these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Wogbo Worldwide, LLC (“we”, “us”), the publisher of Slideprose. They cover the Slideprose iPhone app (“the app”) and the website slideprose.app. By using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Slideprose.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information and is part of these terms.

2. What Slideprose does

Slideprose turns an article you provide into a carousel of slides. It drafts the slides with Anthropic's Claude AI, mostly from the article's own sentences, and lets you style and export them as a PDF. You can paste the text yourself or import it from a public web address.

Slideprose does not post anything for you. You decide what to export, where to share it, and whether to share it at all.

3. Your content and your responsibility

You keep all rights to the articles you bring and the slides you make. You give us permission to process your content only as needed to run Slideprose, such as sending article text to Anthropic to draft your slides.

Use only content you own or have permission to use. That includes text you paste and pages you import. You are responsible for the content you bring, the slides you publish, and making sure they don't infringe anyone's copyright or other rights or break any law. We can't check who owns an article, and we aren't responsible for how you use the slides you make.

When you import from a web address, the last slide credits the source by default. Turning the credit off doesn't change who owns the original article.

4. AI-drafted slides

  • Check before you post. Slides are drafted by AI. They can trim a sentence in a way that changes its meaning, leave out context, or contain mistakes. Read every slide before you share it.
  • “% from source” is an estimate. It measures how much of the slide wording appears in your article. It is not a guarantee of accuracy.
  • No professional advice. Slideprose doesn't give legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice, and slides drafted from your article aren't advice from us.

5. Importing from the web or a file

Import works only with public web pages. Slideprose doesn't log in to sites, get around paywalls, or download video or audio. Some sites block imports; when that happens, paste the text instead. Articles are trimmed to the word limit.

You can also import a PDF or a photo. Claude, the AI model, copies its text into the app; it can misread small, handwritten, or unclear text, so check the result. Import only files you have the right to use.

A site's own terms still apply to its content. Importing a page or file doesn't give you any rights to it.

6. Fair use and limits

To keep Slideprose fast and affordable, we limit how many drafts and imports (links, PDFs and photos) can be made each day, how large a file can be, and how long an article can be. Plans may have their own limits, shown in the app. You agree not to:

  • Use Slideprose for anything illegal, harmful, hateful, or deceptive, or to harass anyone.
  • Use it to copy or republish other people's work without permission.
  • Get around rate limits, plan limits, or security, or call our server from anything other than the app.
  • Reverse engineer, overload, or interfere with the app or our server, or use them to build a competing service.
  • Use Slideprose in a way that breaks Anthropic's usage policy.

7. Subscriptions and purchases

Slideprose may offer a free tier and paid plans. Prices and what each plan includes are shown in the app before you buy, and they may change.

Purchases are made through Apple's App Store and are governed by Apple's terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple ID settings at least 24 hours before it renews. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

8. Our app and brand

The app, its design, its code, and the Slideprose name and logo belong to us. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by Apple's Usage Rules. They don't give you any other rights to our property.

Slideprose is not affiliated with LinkedIn, Instagram, or Anthropic.

9. Copyright complaints

We don't host or publish the slides people make. If you believe Slideprose is being used to infringe your copyright, email support@slideprose.app with the work involved and how to reach you, and we'll look into it.

10. Disclaimers

Slideprose is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that the app will always be available, error-free, or that every page can be imported.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or reputation, arising from your use of Slideprose or the slides you publish. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Slideprose in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50, whichever is greater.

Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

12. Indemnity

If someone makes a claim against us because of content you brought to Slideprose, slides you published, or your breaking these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses from that claim, to the extent the law allows.

13. Apple

These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for the app or its content, has no duty to provide maintenance or support, and isn't responsible for any claims about the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, or intellectual property claims. If the app fails to meet an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

You confirm that you aren't located in a country subject to a US government embargo and aren't on any US government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

14. Ending these terms

You can stop using Slideprose at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or stop access for anyone who breaks these terms or misuses the service, and we may change or discontinue features. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as disclaimers and limits of liability, survive.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts in Lee County, Florida, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.

16. Changes and contact

If we change these terms, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in the app. Continuing to use Slideprose after a change means you accept the new terms.
