Privacy Policy

The short version

• No accounts. You don't sign up or log in to use Slideprose.
• Your carousels stay on your iPhone. History, templates, and your brand kit are stored locally on your device.
• Article text is sent to Anthropic (Claude) only to draft your slides, through our server, and only after you agree on a consent screen before your first draft.
• Payments are handled by Apple. We never see your card details.
• No ads, no tracking, and we don't sell your data.

This policy explains how Wogbo Worldwide, LLC (“we”, “us”), the publisher of Slideprose, handles information in the Slideprose iPhone app (“the app”) and on the website slideprose.app (“the site”). Questions: support@slideprose.app.

1. What stays on your device

Slideprose has no user accounts. The following is stored only on your iPhone, using Apple's on-device storage (SwiftData), and is not sent to us:

• Your carousel history (past slides, their text, and the source title and link).
• Your brand kit: colors, font pair, name and @handle, and avatar image.
• Your template choices and app settings.

Slides, PDFs, and PNG images are rendered on your device. Deleting the app deletes this data. If you use Apple's device backups, your device data may be included in those backups under Apple's terms.

2. Drafting slides with AI

When you share an article to Slideprose, the app pulls out the article's text on your device. To draft slides, it sends that article text (and, where available, its title and link) to Anthropic, the maker of the Claude AI model, through our server. Anthropic returns suggested slide text, which the app shows to you.

• Consent first. Before your first draft, the app shows a screen explaining that article text is sent to Anthropic (Claude) to draft slides. Nothing is sent unless you agree. If you don't agree, the app won't generate drafts.
• Only for drafting. We use the text only to create your slides. We don't use it for advertising, profiling, or any other purpose.
• Anthropic processes the text as our service provider under its commercial terms and privacy policy.
• Regenerating a slide sends the relevant text again for the same purpose.

Please share only content you have the right to use, such as your own articles and newsletters.

3. Our server and abuse prevention

Requests go through a small server (a “proxy”) that we run, so that no AI keys are stored in the app. The proxy forwards your request to Anthropic and returns the result. It is not designed to keep a copy of your article text.

To prevent abuse and keep costs fair, the proxy limits how many drafts each device can request. It uses Apple's App Attest and DeviceCheck services to confirm that requests come from a genuine copy of the app. These services give us a device-level token, not your name, email, or Apple ID. Like most servers, the proxy and its hosting provider may briefly process technical data such as IP address and request time to operate and secure the service.

4. Sharing and exporting

Slideprose does not post anything for you. When you export a PDF or PNG set, you choose where it goes, using the iOS share sheet, Files, or Photos. What happens after that is governed by the app or service you choose. The app asks for permission before saving to Photos.

5. Subscriptions and purchases

Slideprose offers a free tier and an optional Pro subscription. All payments are handled by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment card details.

Subscription processing is done by Apple and, if we use one, our third-party subscription provider (for example, RevenueCat). To confirm whether you have Pro and to restore purchases, the app may share an anonymous app user ID and your App Store purchase records (such as product, purchase date, and renewal status) with that provider. It does not receive your name or payment details. See Apple's privacy policy.

6. What we don't do

• No advertising and no ad networks.
• No selling or renting your personal information.
• No tracking you across other companies' apps or websites.
• No accounts, so no profile about you.

If you've turned on sharing in iOS settings, Apple may provide us with anonymous crash reports and app usage statistics. You control this in Settings on your iPhone.

7. The website and waitlist

The site does not use cookies, analytics, or third-party trackers, and its fonts are hosted on the site itself. Our web host may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security and reliability.

If you join the waitlist, we collect your email address, the time you signed up, and your IP address (used only to prevent abuse, such as limiting repeated sign-ups). Sign-ups are stored on our own web server and sent to our own mailbox. They are not shared with a third-party form or mailing service.

We use your email address only to tell you when Slideprose launches. We never sell or share waitlist addresses. To be removed, email support@slideprose.app and we'll delete your address.

If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply and to help you.

8. Your choices and rights

• On-device data: delete the app to remove everything it stored on your iPhone.
• AI drafting: you can decline consent, which stops article text from being sent.
• Waitlist: email support@slideprose.app and we'll delete your address.
• Subscriptions: manage or cancel in your Apple ID settings.

Depending on where you live (for example, the EU, UK, or California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your personal information. Because we hold very little about you, most data is already in your hands. To make a request, email support@slideprose.app. We won't treat you differently for using these rights.

9. Children

Slideprose is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

10. Changes and contact

If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the date at the top. If the change is significant, such as sending data to a new kind of service, we'll tell you in the app.
